A good yoga mat is like a good friend

When we decided to make yoga mats three thing were the most important: sustainable materials, good grip so a yogini or yogi feels confident, and reference lines that make the yoga asana easy to understand. And of course they had to be good looking too. The Yoga Mat is what we came up with.

The Yoga Mat family currently consists of thirteen mats in eight different colours, four thickness sizes: 2mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6.2mm.

We think that if a Yogini or Yogi buys a yoga mat a, yoga mat bag and beautiful wooden name tag should be included so we included them in the package.

The Yoga Mat was designed by Shahid Khan, a long time yoga practitioner. He taught Iyengar yoga for many years, before developing his own yoga method, Yogveda Yoga which he now teaches in Bern.

Even the best of yogis can benefit from having reference lines on the yoga mat. The right distances and angles of legs, feet and palms help to achieve perfection inthe asanas.
